Sleek Highlighting Palettes

This week saw Sleek launch a new Highlighting palette, Cleopatra’s Kiss joins blogger favourites Solstice and Precious Metals.

The palette consists of two Powder shades, Sphinx and Goddess, and two cream shades, Delta and Dynasty. Sphinx has ‘old gold’ tones to it, it blends out to a subtle gold shimmer, great for autumn. Goddess is more of a champagne shimmer, they both have glittery particles but it’s not chunky and gives a nice soft glow. If your after more of a sheen (if you know what I mean) then the cream shades may be more your thing, Delta and Dynasty are great for strobing, they have that luminosity to give a gorgeous glow. For a really intense highlight, layer the cream shades with the powder ones!

I also bought the Precious Metals Highlighting Palette, now, if you prefer cream highlighters to powder, and you prefer a sheen to a sparkle, then this is the Palette for you!

Platinum, Antique Bronze and Royal Gold are all cream shades, so they are more subtle than a powder and give a ethereal glow. Again they can be layered with powder to give a more intense look.

Lastly, a firm favourite. For a drugstore product, it’s probably the best in its category. The Solstice  Palette, has four of the most intense, pigmented and stunning highlighters.

It consists of three powder shades, Hemisphere, Subsolar and Equinox, and a cream shade Ecliptic. Hemisphere and Equinox are very unique shades, they are simply breathtaking! Subsolar is more subtle, a pale creamy champagne shade. Ecliptic gives more of a sheen to the sheen. They are all beautiful.

So in summary, the palettes are around £10 each, they are available from the Sleek website, and also Superdrug and Boots, in store and online. I got mine on an offer, they were 2 for £12 in Superdrug.

I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you only buy one, get the Solstice Palette, everyone needs that in their life and their makeup bag, but as they’re usually on an offer, grab yourself Cleopatra’s Kiss too, you won’t be disappointed!!
